uRate

Good service deserves credit. Here's how to earn it.

Customer service stops being a private cost center you can quietly manage, and becomes a visible, benchmarkable metric — that's the point. Here's what engaging well actually looks like today, and what's coming.

How it works today

For every real company today, uRate's founder logs your response on your behalf — email your reply and it goes up promptly. Your Response Rate only counts your first response, so speed matters most. A self-serve version — claim your company, log in, respond directly — is already built and tested; it's turned off for real companies until our Terms of Service finish legal review.

  • Cases against you are reviewed for risk before publishing (Claude AI advisory flag + founder approval)
  • Your reputation score is computed from the same public formula as every other company
  • No cost to participate at this stage — the roadmap's Stage 0 explicitly avoids monetizing before trust is established

Why respond fast and resolve well

Response Rate (20%) and Resolution Rate (30%) together make up half your score — and a response rate under 50% overrides everything else to an automatic Not Recommended.

Compare your standing against peers in your industry on the industry rollup.
